The challenge
HecoAnalytics needed a more structured way for its clients to collect evidence from multiple people and transform that information into consistent, usable reports. Evidence could be distributed across different members of an organisation, making data collection and assessment difficult to coordinate. The platform needed to support collaborative data gathering while capturing the value, quality, and supporting notes associated with individual pieces of evidence.
The solution
BTM developed HecoRep as a web-based evidence collection and reporting platform. Clients can work through configurable forms, record and assess evidence, and delegate specific data requests to colleagues. HecoRep extends data collection beyond the web application via a WhatsApp bot, allowing team members to submit assigned information directly. The gathered evidence is transformed into textual reports, evidence maps, and quality treemaps, supplemented by generative-AI functionality for alternative textual outputs.
The outcome
HecoRep provided HecoAnalytics with a reusable digital workflow connecting collaborative evidence collection directly with analysis and reporting. Users can generate interactive visual and textual reports from the collected evidence, export polished summaries as PDF, and retrieve underlying datasets as CSV.
